Radio Free Iraq ceasing broadcasting

Radio Free Iraq has stopped its broadcasting to Iraq from July 31st, 2015. The programming will be merged with Radio Sawa´s normal programming.  RFI has been broadcasting on 1593 kHz from Kuwait and whether this frequency will be used by Radio Sawa is just now unclear. Radiated power: 10 kw daytime (9 am to 5 pm local time / 0700 to 1500 UTC in the summer) / nightime 5 kW (5 pm to 9 am local time / 1500 to 0700 UTC in the summer)
Attenuation pattern: -1 dB from 350° to 90° and from 160 to 220°

Bretagne 5 is testing now with music on 1593 kHz in parallel to their web stream on http://bretagne5.fr (Mauno Ritola in the WRTH Facebook group)
Bretagne 5 heard with tests on 1593 kHz this morning (Sat 18 April) - strong clear signal and excellent audio at 0537 UTC tune-in on Sony 7600GR with just internal ferrite rod antenna. Continuous music (French songs, Jazz) and occasional IDs as "Bretagne Cinq - La Radio Regionale" etc. Time pips at 0600 UTC. Signal weakening as sun rose higher. Test transmissions from Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications on 1593 kHz

Hi, all! We are glad to inform you that for tomorrow we have planned a test AM transmission. Of course ZS-1 will be used. Frequency 1593 kHz, power 10W PEP. Just music for the beginning... We are going to start at 12:00 UTC and finish at 13:00-13:30 UTC. The frequency belongs to the Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (Russian Federation). Coordinates of the station: 59.902799,30.489243 In future a power amplifier will be added and broadcasting will be more regular. 1593 kHz Bretagne 5 is now testing with 5? kW from Saint-Gouéne in Brittany. The test will continue until tomorrow. Partly good reception in southern Sweden, but QRM from Romania. Information from Christopher Ratzer. (Bengt Ericson, ARC, Växjö)

Radio 700 Kall, Germany testing on 1593 kHz

Radio 700 mediumwave relay on 1593 kHz from Kall in West Germany tested on Sunday, November 11th between 1600-1700 UTC but the signal was too weak to reach Southern Sweden. Reports from Flensburg in Germany and Salzburg in Austria reports no reception.(Bengt Ericson, ARC, Växjö)

Radio 1593 on the air 24/7 from Germany

Radio 1593 kHz with transmitter near Euskirchen in Western Germany is on the air 24h with 500 watts and wait for a spare part which increases the power to estimated 10 kW. Radio 700 to start on MW 1593 kHz

1593 Funkhaus Euskirchen (Radio 700) will test a new transmitter, 5 or 10 kW, in medio August. They have been assigned the frequency as WDR has returned the frequency to Bundesnetzagentur in Germany.

Radio Bretagne Cinq 1593 kHz heard in Sweden

FRANCE         1593 Radio Bretagne Cinq heard for the first time this morning at 0730 UTC with French and international music mostly played nonstop. Once a DJ announced the ID. Very good signal, but faded away 30 minutes later. (Bengt Ericson, ARC)
