Radio Free Iraq has stopped its broadcasting to Iraq from July 31st, 2015. The programming will be merged with Radio Sawa´s normal programming. RFI has been broadcasting on 1593 kHz from Kuwait and whether this frequency will be used by Radio Sawa is just now unclear. WRTH 2015 indicates Radio Sawa on 1593 kHz. Yes, in the MW fq list is given wrongly R. Sawa only, but 1593 kHz has been shared since late 2014 by R. Free Iraq and Sawa (both on page 494). Now only Sawa 24h.
