Pirate station Radio Luxemburg 261 kHz long wave

Dutch free radio station Radio Luxemburg has been broadcasting on longwave 261 in recent weeks. They relayed long running UK free radio station Radio Merlin International last Saturday. Two short videos plus link to RMI's site.

Last hour of Radio Luxembourg 208 tonight Dec. 31 with the original DJs

I have just been informed that TONIGHT at midnight UK time (1am CET) the Mike Hollis produced closedown from 1991 (which I recently edited) will be played on 1440kHz/208m !!! - on the final final day that 208 will be on air - you will have on last chance to listen to the famous 208 DJs on that famous frequency before they switch it off

Radio Luxemburg 1440 closing down

On the 31st of December this year the transmitter of Radio Luxemburg 1440 kHz will be closed. Latest April 1st, 2016  all steel constructions shall have been removed. 1440 Radio Luxemburg has returned to old days and broadcast the German program
during daytime. The reception is very good during daytime so at least 600 kW.
Italy
981 Trieste A is now running 24h.
1368 Challenger Radio in the Padova provice is now off the air due to technical problems.
Germany
AFN Europe headquarter will be moved to to Kaiserslautern during end of 2013 -
September 2014. Accordingly AFN Heidelberg 1143 kHz will be moved to Stuttgart.
