Another new Dutch MW station: Radio 0511

Radio 0511 is now testing on MW 1494 kHz and will be on the air with regular transmissions from September. Fixed schedule each Sunday:
11:00 - 13:00: Mark de Haan
13:00 - 14:00: Peter Nijdam 1
14:00 - 16:00: Mark Nicolai
16:00 - 17:00 Erik Bolhuis
17:00 - 19:00: Marco Cate
Times are probably CET.

New Dutch MW station; Q AM 1395

New low power mediumwave station is now on air in the Netherlands. Q AM (is NOT the same as Q Music) with oldies on 1395 kHz from Waardenburg, between Den Bosch and Utrecht. It's the second low power station on this frequency, Atlantis from the province of Friesland started about a month ago on 1395 kHz. (René van Hoof in the Medium Wave Circle Facebook group)

Dutch (and possibly French) stations closing down in 2015

NETHERLANDS

Stig Hartvig Nielsen in Denmark reports via Ydun on July 22nd that Radio 5 on 747 kHz (Zeevolde) and 1251 kHz (Emmaberg) will end its transmissions on September 1, 2015.

Radio Maria Nederland on 675 kHz will end its transmissions on September 1st, 2015 reports MWC Facebookgroup.

FRANCE

It is reported that Radio France will cease its operations on MW at the end of 2015. However the political process is not finished yet. We have to wait and see.       (Bengt Ericson, ARC)

Radio Waddenzee 1602 soon back on the air

The Netherlands From the 21st of April Radio Waddenzee will return to the air at 0600 UTC on 1602 kHz according to their webpage. (Bengt Ericson, ARC)

Radio 10 from the Netherlands has now closed down on 828 kHz

Radio 10 on 828 kHz has now closed its normal programs on MW. A tape asking the listeners to move to FM is now running. (Bengt Ericson, ARC)
